Artist’s Statement:
Sambita’s artworks sprout from personal experiences, dealing largely with the human psyche and finding beauty in the mundane events of our lives. In addition to capturing the beauty or mood of such experiences, her artwork also acts as a glimpse into the entanglement of the subtle and deeper realms of the human mind.
These are expressions of duality and multimodality of the human psyche, depicted in the interplay of multilayered interpretations. The loose threads always nudge the audience’s brain, leaving the mysterious taste of our “selves” in our mind.
